The voided slab system has been known as an effective technique to replace a heavy reinforced concrete without the decrease in flexural strength. However, according previous studies, capacities such strength, stiffness and ductility of slabs were practically lower than that solid depending on void shapes details. Therefore, this study, analytical experimental study conducted derive optimal shape details focused slabs. Based finite element (FE) analysis, donut-type shaper, which was hexahedron with rounded edges hole penetrating center, suggested slabs, verify slab. deflection investigated by fixing method shaper variables. also evaluated, because is important strength for safe design member. test results showed equivalent 98% 105% RC specimen, specimens had enough decreased about 8~9% compared slab, but it improved up 7% non-donut-type results, associated device suggested, confirmed one efficient alternatives flat plate
